On a Winter Day Original Painting

This painting is from a long running series of abstractions I have been working on. Inspired initially by the work of Gerhard Richter they have become, for me, meditations on the beauty one can find in the unplanned.

While purely an abstraction this painting is definitely a product of much time spent walking along the Northeast coast.

This painting measures 8" x 10" and is on a wood panel.
